First, TM Cubed will offer a service to any factory where we install sensors on all equipment used in manufacturing. The sensor suite will talk to legacy machines with proprietary formats to gather real-time data about machine operation, the jobs produced on it, scrap rates, down times, maintenance, etc and expose that data in an API. Factory 2.0: Improve Efficiency and Pick Invention Needs
Next, TM Cubed will sell a subscription service to our existing customers (and new customers that have an API for their factory) where machine learning and the extensive TM Cubed manufacturing processes library will be used to suggest efficiency improvements based on the realtime data from your factory’s API. Simulations of factory reconfigurations will be run to determine the ideal factory layout, timing of steps, maintenance cycles, shifts, etc in order to optimize a set of parameters the customer will be able to control: including profits and quality. This product will tell you how to change your factory design for large improvements, cost reductions, step removals, machine deletions, etc. Our customers will realize underheard of profitability gains through these optimizations.The analysis will highlight processes that are slow or expensive and suggest product design changes and manufacturing methods inventions needed to further optimize the factory. Using first principles analysis for the cost to move the atoms in your products around the world, TM Cubed will train neural net AIs to optimize the flow of of parts, subassemblies and consumables in your product’s BOM (bill of materials) to reduce costs and time. Scale, Factory as a Service
TM Cubed will sell a service to add capacity to your existing factories on a just in time basis of a few weeks. When all information about the parts and manufacturing processes is combined with all information about supply chain, it will be possible to spin up duplicate extensions of your existing factory setup in a few weeks rather than a few years. TM Cubed will sell factory space in 3 dimensions and standardized blocks to whomever needs them. Much like how Amazon sells hard drives and servers through AWS.
